The screw chiller uses one to three screw-type compressors inside an integrated device. Larger screw compressors have higher capacity, higher efficiency than screw compressors. Capacity control of these compressors is usually either four steps for a compressor or in the form of linear capacity control. Using these chillers in capacities above 150 tons of refrigeration is a very good option. Screw compressors usually require a specialist force due to their greater complexity than screw compressors.
